Celebrity chef Alton Brown comes to Midland with holiday cooking tour



Known for his impressive cooking skills on Food Network and captivating Netflix show, television personality Alton Brown recently announced Alton Brown Live: Beyond The Eats – The Holiday Variant tour, and making a stop in Midland during the holiday season. Brown originated the live culinary variety show with his “Edible Inevitable,” “Eat Your Science,” and “Beyond The Eats” tours that have performed in over 200 cities with more than 550,000 fans in attendance. His latest production of him arrives on Nov. 30 at Midland Center for the Arts and mixes together science, music, food and festive fun into two hours of pure entertainment. Brown has been to Food Network and Cooking Channel star for over 20 years, creating, writing and hosting shows like good eats for which he won a coveted Peabody AwardGood Eats: Reloadedand Good Eats: The Return. In addition to his work by him on the Good Eats series, he also hosted Cutthroat Kitchen and served as a culinary commentator on Iron Chef America. Beyond Food Network and cable television, Brown is the host of the new Netflix Iron Chef reboot Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend.

Cooking isn’t the only talent where Brown shines. He just released the fourth and final installation of his beloved Good Eats series, The Final Years. The book instantly became a New York Times bestseller with its 150 astounding new recipes and mouthwatering original photography.
